How much Raw Manuka Honey should you consume?

The great news is that you only need approximately 1-2 teaspoons a day of Manuka Honey to reap the immunity boosting benefits! That’s much less than some chemist brought vitamins. It’s 100% natural, 100% raw and 100% the best cupboard staple! The higher the strength the less you need, with medicinal grade Manuka, no more than a table spoon a day is required.

Sore Throat Directions

Anything above NGO 263 is effective for a sore throat.

If you have a sore throat, take 1 teaspoon a day, 3 times a day for a couple of days and then drop down to a teaspoon a day. For best effect, don’t eat or drink on either side of that for 15 or 20 mins and leave it in your mouth a few seconds to allow some of the honey to be absorbed into the membranes of your mouth.

The best time to take it is first thing in the morning. This allows you to get the full strength of manuka honey.

The benefits of eating Manuka honey raw, without mixing it in anything, is certainly our recommendation to gain the most from its healing properties. This will ensure that you receive all the great bacteria that leads to a healthy gut. In the beginning, this might be a bit hard to swallow! So our flavoured Manuka collection may be for you.
